The idea of the “Wedding Doula”
I came to wedding doula work after years of helping people organize, shape, and move through their weddings. What interested me most was never simply putting together a beautiful event. It was helping people create a day that actually reflected who they are, what their relationship means to them, and the kind of commitment they are choosing to make.
Weddings can bring up a lot. Alongside the excitement and celebration, there can be complex family dynamics, expectations about tradition, questions of identity and belonging, financial pressure, decision fatigue, and the sheer logistical weight of organizing a major event.
Wedding doula care sits somewhere between planning, coordination, advocacy, and emotional support.
I can help you work through what you actually want your wedding to feel like, decide which traditions have meaning for you and which ones do not, navigate competing family or social expectations, and help you to create a ceremony that feels deeply connected to your own values and the inherent magic of your relationship.
I can also help with the practical work that makes that vision possible: organizing plans, building timelines, communicating with vendors and loved ones, troubleshooting logistics, keeping track of details, and helping manage the stress that comes with bringing so many moving pieces together.
On the wedding day itself, my focus remains on you as much as the event. I want you to have someone who understands the plan, can deal with problems as they arise, can notice when you need food or quiet or a moment alone, and can help protect enough space for you to actually experience the day you spent so much time creating.
The goal is not to make your wedding look like a wedding is “supposed” to look. It is to help you create a celebration of love that feels reflective of your relationship, values and who you are.
The Base Package
Starting at $1,250
For clients who are doing most of the planning themselves, but want thoughtful support bringing everything together and someone firmly in their corner on the wedding day.
Includes:
Two pre-wedding meetings
Support clarifying your priorities, boundaries, traditions, ceremony, and what you want the day to feel like
Review of your existing plans and logistics
Help creating or refining your wedding-day timeline
Email/text support between meetings
Up to 8 hours of wedding-day support
On the wedding day, this can include:
Keeping an eye on the timeline and overall flow of the day
Communicating with vendors, wedding party members, family, and loved ones as needed
Troubleshooting unexpected problems
Helping protect the choices you've made for your wedding
Making sure you have opportunities to eat, drink, breathe & have moments alone together
Being a grounded, familiar person whose primary responsibility is you, rather than the venue, guests, or production of the event
The Continuity Package
Starting at $2,000
For couples who want more support throughout the process of creating their wedding—not full-service wedding planning, but someone alongside them as they make decisions, navigate complex dynamics, and turn their ideas into a celebration that feels authentic.
Includes everything in Wedding Day Doula Support, plus:
Four pre-wedding meetings
More extensive support shaping the structure, feeling, and priorities of your wedding
Ceremony development, including support with structure, readings, rituals, vows, and deciding which traditions feel meaningful to you
Help navigating family expectations, boundaries, identity, accessibility, and other interpersonal considerations
Practical planning support and organization
Wedding-day timeline creation
Communication with key vendors and/or loved ones in the final month before the wedding
Final logistical review before the wedding
Up to 10 hours of wedding-day support
Up to 90 minutes of rehearsal support, if you're having one
A post-wedding debrief/check-in
Ceremony Creation & Facilitation
Starting at $350
Available as an add-on to the other packages or on its own. If you would like me to help create, or possibly lead, your ceremony, we can build something that feels personal, intentional, and genuinely reflective of your relationship.
This can include:
Developing the structure and flow of your ceremony
Writing or co-writing the ceremony
Support with personal vows
Choosing or adapting readings, rituals, and traditions
Rehearsal support
Leading the personal ceremony on your wedding day
Please note that I am not a legally authorized marriage officiant in Québec. This means I can lead the personal and ceremonial parts of your wedding, but I cannot perform the legal solemnization of your marriage or complete the legal marriage paperwork.
If you would like your wedding day to also be your legal marriage ceremony, you will need to arrange for an authorized officiant to complete the required legal portion. I can work alongside that person so the legal and personal parts of the ceremony feel cohesive.
Wedding Doula Session
$100 / 75-minute session
You do not need to book a full package to work with me.
One-off sessions can be used at any point in the wedding process to work through things like ceremony ideas, family dynamics, traditions, wedding anxiety, timelines, logistics, difficult decisions, boundaries, or simply figuring out what you actually want your wedding to be.
Gathered Florals
For clients who want flowers that feel wild, seasonal, and alive.
Depending on the season and availability, I can source locally grown and/or responsibly gathered flowers and create simple arrangements for your celebration — think bud vases, small table arrangements, scattered florals, and other loose, abundant touches that feel a little enchanted rather than overly polished.
This is best suited to those who are open to working with what is naturally available at the time of their wedding.
This can include:
Bud vases and small arrangements for tables, bars, welcome areas, or other gathering spaces
Florals and greenery for ceremony spaces, signage, tablescapes, and other small decorations
Sourcing, arranging, delivery, and simple on-site setup
Reusing and redistributing flowers throughout the day where possible, so they can move from ceremony to dinner or celebration spaces
Pricing depends on the number of arrangements, flowers available, sourcing, vessels, and setup required.
